The Anambra State Ministry of Information and Value Reformation was established to serve as the primary channel of communication between the Anambra State Government and its citizens. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the promotion of positive values that drive social and economic development.

Historical Milestones

Our Journey

    Establishment of the Ministry · 1991

    The Ministry of Information was created shortly after the creation of Anambra State, tasked with managing government communications.

    Addition of Value Reformation Mandate · 2014

    The ministry expanded its scope to include value reformation and attitudinal change, reflecting the state's commitment to moral renewal.

    Digital Transformation · 2018

    Launch of the state's official news portal and social media channels, enabling real-time citizen engagement.

    Community Outreach Expansion · 2022

    Establishment of zonal information offices across all 21 LGAs to ensure grassroots access to government information.
