Anambra State House of Assembly

Committees

Standing & Ad-Hoc Committees

Committees are the engine of legislative work. They scrutinise bills, investigate matters of public concern, and oversee government agencies. The Anambra State House of Assembly has both standing committees (permanent) and ad-hoc committees (temporary).

Each committee is chaired by a seasoned lawmaker and includes members from both the majority and minority parties to ensure balanced deliberation.
