Service Spotlight
Our crop farming programme covers the entire value chain. We distribute certified, high-yield seedlings of cassava (TME 419, NR 8082), rice (FARO 44, FARO 67), yam, maize, and vegetables. Soil testing is free for registered farmers, and we provide subsidised fertiliser and bio-pesticides.
Our field officers conduct regular farm visits and organise demonstration plots where farmers learn new techniques. We also facilitate access to mechanisation services (tractors, planters, harvesters) at reduced rates through our partner cooperatives.
Funding Made Simple
The Anambra Farmers' Fund offers loans from ₦50,000 to ₦5,000,000 at an interest rate of just 5% per annum with a 6-month moratorium. Women and youth cooperatives receive priority processing.
To apply: Visit your LGA agriculture desk or apply online at loans.anambraagric.gov.ng. You'll need a valid ID, proof of farm ownership, and a cooperative membership (if applicable). Processing takes 14 working days. Grants are available for climate-smart projects and post-harvest infrastructure.
