Who We Are
The Office of the Secretary to the State Government (OSSG) is the administrative hub of the Anambra State Executive Council. Established to drive policy coherence, the OSSG ensures that every government decision is implemented efficiently and in alignment with the vision of the Governor.
Our Mission: To provide strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight that empowers all MDAs to deliver exceptional public service to the people of Anambra.
Our Vision: A model public service institution that sets the benchmark for governance excellence in Nigeria.
Historical Milestones
Created as the central coordinating body for the newly created Anambra State Government.
Expanded role to oversee policy implementation across all MDAs.
Initiated comprehensive civil service modernisation and training programmes.
Launched e-Governance platforms for real-time policy tracking and citizen feedback.
Awarded Best Government Secretariat in South-East Nigeria by the National Productivity Centre.
