How can I request a tree for planting?+

Submit a Tree Planting Request Form available on our Services page or visit our office. The Ministry provides free seedlings for community groups and schools.

What are the requirements for a waste operator licence?+

Applicants must provide proof of registration, a waste management plan, vehicle documentation, and a valid environmental compliance certificate. See our Downloads section for the full application form.

How long does an EIA review take?+

The standard review period is 30 working days from the date of submission of a complete report. Complex projects may require additional time.

Does the Ministry offer environmental education programmes for schools?+

Yes. We run a School Environmental Club programme and conduct regular visits to primary and secondary schools. Contact our Public Health & Education unit for bookings.
