The Anambra State Ministry of Transport was established to coordinate and regulate all aspects of transportation in the State. Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, and sustainable transport services that enhance the quality of life for all Anambra residents.

    Created to oversee transport regulation following the creation of Anambra State.

    Launched the Anambra Urban Mass Transit programme connecting major towns.

    Introduced online vehicle registration and licence renewal platform.

    Opened a 24/7 traffic monitoring and response centre in Awka.
